Today was a good last day of work. It’s funny how the kid that I once described as ‘Idiot #2′ has sorta become my friend over the past few weeks. Granted, I still think he’s a lazy bum, we work well together. We get a LOT done. Today, we were on mowers basically the entire time. We did about 8 soccer fields (and inbetween/around them), and then after lunch we did one more field, then baseball outfields and the grass around the fields. The mowers are pretty cool, they’re called ‘Hustler Super Z’s and they go FAST. You can do wheelies in them

I got so mad at these people on the last soccer field. We’re not supposed to mow near people, so when they walk by or something, we have to turn the blades off and wait, or go somewhere else. So we’re cutting around the last field and a family walks over and starts playing. I was sorta worried, but figured we’d be okay. After all, the person that’s driving a vehicle is usually more worried than the person walking near it, and we were at least 200 feet away. But it wasn’t the point. The nerve of the people – they left a purse in the middle of where we were cutting (we were there first) and a Frisbee with keys/cigarettes IN MY PATH. The field they were playing on was already cut, and they left crap on the OUTSIDE of the soccer field line where it was not cut. It wouldn’t have been in their way if it was on the inside at all, they barely played much. On top of it all, there’s about 8 other fields if they could walk for 4 minutes. We have 8 soccer fields at Nike – and they chose this one because it was closest to the parking lot. People piss me off. I finally got off the mower and moved their stuff behind me where I cut. It was everything in my power to keep from just running it over and blasting it into a million pieces. When we did the baseball outfields, I started to go crazy. It was horribly boring, and barely looked like you made progress. Soccer fields are at least enjoyable. Once I got done with one, I stopped to buy a pop and was talking to Cam, and told him that I think I did it wrong. Like, made some weird pattern in the grass. He said (which made me happy), “We have very unconventional morals here, there is no wrong. It’s like, ‘I did it and it’s great.’ “ Needless to say, I did the next field in the same fashion. Not to mention, Frank told us to go faster because we didn’t have much time. Those mowers have a top speed of like 14 mph I think. Granted I probably wasn’t doing 14, cutting grass at 10-12 mph is still pretty insane. I finished the second in about 32 minutes.
I read more of Cell at work today, it’s such a good book!
I got home today and crashed in bed. Woke up to eat and then fell asleep on the couch again. And I’m about to go to bed now.

I managed to miss a few days! Oops!
I went to Cedar Point with Jeremy yesterday, it was a lot of fun! I didn’t feel too sick all day, but we left early because apparently I was pale, and my head did hurt. We ordered food at one point, which was horrible. Here’s how it went with the lady at the counter:
Oh, and you have a chocolate shake?
Yes, and a milk.
…….
You want chocolate milk?
NO! Chocolate malt and a milk.
…..
….
…
Chocolate milk?
No, see it says chocolate shake and a milk. The white ones in the bottles over there.
….
Milk?
Yes, milk.
OH YOU CONFUSE ME! *picks up chocolate milk*
NO NO NO THE WHITE ONE WITH THE RED CAP
….
Whaa?
Put that one down and pick up the one that was next to it.
Which one?
With the red cap.
Oh, you confuse me! You want milk!
YES. And a chocolate malt.
What?
We have both, go make a chocolate malt.
OH You try and mess me up, you want two!
Not to mention my cheeseless cheeseburger.
We were pretty drained once we got home, it was a massively tiring day.
Today, work was boring (nothing new) and I didn’t feel that great. I got home and ended up falling asleep on my bed, still in my work clothes. I slept from about 4 until 10. I hate mono. And I’m still tired. At least I found out that iPhoto can automatically tag people on facebook. At least thats what it says, I’m going to try soon. I need sleep again, lol.
I’m more than positive that I missed about 80 things to talk about, but I’m sorta frazzled right now.
EDIT: Oh, I remembered! I was so mad! Apparently it stormed like crazy while I was alseep! I’ve wanted nothing but a heavy thunderstorm this whole summer. I get one, and I SLEEP THROUGH THE ENTIRE THING! FML

Today was fun. I’m very tired though, stupid mono. :[ This morning, I went to lunch & shopping at Southpark with Jer. Let me reiterate that I don’t like Panera. The first time I ate there, I got a chicken sandwich. Who serves grilled chicken cold? I specifically asked the cashier if the chicken was hot on the sandwich she suggested and she said yes. I get it, and after taking off the bacon and tomato, take a bite and realize that the chicken is cold. It’s spicy hot, not temperature hot. I can’t win.
Then we go to H&M where I buy one shirt (which later turns out to be too small, his fault) and a pair of $6 sunglasses that I don’t think I like anymore. He bought like three shirts and three pairs of pants. $17 vs $112. I didn’t buy anything in any other stores, and I don’t think he did either. We went home and watched Shawn of the Dead until he had to leave for work.
I went online to Lynda.com and started watching PHP Object-Oriented Programming videos again. I think I finally understand its usefulness. I hope. There’s a ton of videos and I’m still on the basics, though. T_T
I went to see Transformers 2 (again) with Angela. I love that movie! Unfortunately I got tired and sorta wanted to leave, so the ending wasn’t as good. I also realized that it looked a bit too animated at parts. I guess you can’t make the entire thing perfect. After the movie was more fun. I got a hot chocolate and we went out to sit in her truck. She said that her dad had been using her radio (she doesn’t; she always has CDs) so we programmed the radio stations to static. FM1 & FM2 are exactly the same, also. Once my hot chocolate was gone, I set my trucks alarm off so we could find it and drop me off. I jokingly said ‘race ya home?’ so she jumped in her truck and took off ahead of me. I figured that I’d go up granger hill and take 480 home, the freeway always seems faster. Before I even got off of Canal Rd, I realized that I had left my phone in her truck. I don’t know why but I felt like I needed it badly, and having just seen Transformers, I wanted to drive like I was on a mission. Maybe its a guy thing. In either case, 4 minutes and several risky driving maneuvers later, I caught up to her. There was a car in front and behind her, and we’re on a 2 lane double yellow line road. I moved into the oncoming traffic lane and flashed my lights like five times. I guess she saw, because she pulled over at the next side street. She told me that she called my mom (thanks Angela
) and also called me, not being her most intelligent move. At any rate, I have my phone back.

I forgot to update! Well, not as much forgot as was too tired to. Thursday night Angela came over and we made a video for my *new* and soon-to-be-updated website. I don’t think I’m keeping that copy, but we’ll be making more soon. So I got 4 hours of sleep that night. Friday was okay, work was bad. I’m not supposed to rough house or get bounced around or anything cause of the mono. The half wit driving the cushman (with two of us in the back) puts the throttle all the way up (we’re not supposed to touch it – it’s usually at a little less than halfway) and floors it all over the park. Not slowing down for the enormous bumps, dips, and through the grass. I eventually (of course, all the way at the front of the park) said I’d walk back because I saw some things to weed whip as we drove. Yes, I was weed whipping again. Oh, I almost forgot: I got stung by a bee that morning, too while weed whipping. Not fun. It’s itchy and is a big bump now. So I went to bed early Friday night cause I was tired.
Today was fun at Jenn’s grad party, I got closer to a few people and met a few cool people also. The most memorable, probably, was the devil child/spawn of satan/satan himself. We made many names for him as the night progressed. Before I arrived, he had gotten Jenn, Nicole, and Sam with water balloons. Now, some people wanted to play an egg toss. All four of us backed off and said that we didn’t want to play. As this kid and some adults insisted, he somehow gets an egg and whips it at Jenn’s back. Although he was maybe 10, he threw it hard, she had a red spot. Not to mention, it splashed onto my pants (crotch, of course) and camera. I was ready to kick that kid’s head in but I instead went inside to wash off. He said, “Sorry about the egg” while I was washing my Nikon off and I replied, “Yeah.” I wasn’t going to say that it was okay or anything; I was furious. Then later (10 ish) I went to Jon’s party. Not many people left there, but some of my closer friends, we had a circle chat (usually a few different discussions at once). It was a good day overall.
I’m very tired right now. I found out that you can win a 2010 Camaro with the Dr. Pepper codes in the caps, so I’m playing like crazy! Oh, and my laptop is in Cleveland! It’s in the sorting center or whathaveyou. Apparently I won’t have it until Tuesday, but that doesn’t make any sense. And to top it off, I’m not working on monday! It’d be so nice to have it then.
I should probably get some sleep.

I (once again) cleared out my blog and am starting fresh. This time, I just marked them private and didn’t delete them all! So, I have mono and a co-infection (sinus infection, as far as I know) and I feel like death. My throat hurts to do anything, I’m tired, have random body aches, and don’t want to do anything. I’m supposed to rest and take it easy, so I go to work.
Today at work, I was on a riding mower which eventually broke. I started the blades and it was really loud – sounded like a metro ‘copter and was just about as loud as one; earphones didn’t help much. I went back to the garage to ask if it was okay, and after listening to it, the full-timers decided it was good to go. Despite the noise, it cut okay. I was out cutting a giant field with two other kids when all of a sudden it got sort of quiet. I figured it was either really good or really bad. Looking behind me, I saw that not much was cut. I looked inside and a metal spring had snapped. Once I took it back, a guy asked me if I knew how to drive with a trailer so I could take it to get fixed. My dad had taught me on Sunday, but I never went out in traffic, which I told him. He said, ‘maybe we’ll let you get some more experience first.’ I later texted my dad about how funny my luck was, to which he replied with, ‘You only live once. Take a chance and be careful.’ FML! I would have done it if I knew he would have said that. It was about 3 hours after I almost drove it, so the chance was long gone. Maybe I’ll ask if I can tomorrow.
I ordered an Apple MacBook Pro 17.” I’m excited! Although not a fan of Apple, it’s going to be nice to have a laptop again.
I’ve been watching the history channel like crazy lately; I’ve seen almost every show twice this week.
It’s good to be back!
